作品《37度》介绍

女儿QQ刚满两岁时候,连续二十多天高烧不退,并且感染了可怕的EB病毒,全家人一起在焦灼不安中,陪着坚强的女儿,共同度过了一段难熬的日子。 这让我对生命、对家庭、对女儿,有了更多的感悟。

在《37度》的创作中,我不自觉地突出了特定的家庭氛围和心理氛围,作品中所描绘的已经不再是某一个家庭的父母和孩子,而是中国父亲、中国母亲和中国儿童,所有中国式家庭典型象征。我只想用真挚的感情,用纯朴的画面,描绘自己的内心最真实的人生体验。 在整个画面里,没有悲苦,没有无奈,没有绝望,只有坚定、童真和灵动。

在画面上,画家左手握着调色板和画笔, 盯着右手高举的体温计,眼神刚毅。 身边是不安的妻子,目光忧虑。怀中,是正在输液的孩子,小女孩表情木讷,单纯可爱。还有一只顽皮而无虑的小狗,叼着皮球。作品是以大片的深灰色作为背景,表达了我自己一段揪心的生活经历。

My Daughter has just turned two when she was affected with EB virus and had a high fever for over twenty days. Although deeply worried, the whole family was there for my strong girl. And it is this difficult time we had together that makes me understand more about life, about family, and about my daughter.

In the process of painting 37 Degrees, I unconsciously emphasized on the specific family and psychological atmosphere. It is not a certain family that I depict in my painting. It is the image of father, mother, and child in China. It is a symbol of the classic Chinese family. I would like to describe my own experience with true feeling and simple picture. There is no sadness in this picture, nor helplessness or despair. Only firmness, innocence and lightness remain.

In this painting, the painter is holding palette and brush in his left hand and raising the thermometer in the other, his eyes fixed on the thermometer, firm and determined. His wife is just beside him, looking anxious. Holding in the wife’s arm is their daughter. The girl is getting infusion, looking reticent, but pure and lovely. And there is also a naughty dog, with a ball in its mouth, appearing as if it has nothing to worry about. Dark grey has been used as the background of the paint to express my heartrending experience.

在戴平均的作品《三角形》中,一只手从画布的背面穿越而出,令人惊悚。这种超现实的手法其实在90年代徐芒耀的作品中已经出现,不过那时徐的作品还具有启蒙主义的哲学思辨性质,其画作的人物是超现实的理想人物(如画家)
